Day 2: Our first stop is the Aglag Buteel Monastery located 100 km away to the north-west of Ulaanbaatar. It was built by Buddhist artist and lama, Purevbat, to practice meditation, educate, and writing books. Have a walk around the monastery and be amazed by the combination of natural beauty and Buddhist heritages. We will spend the night in Darkhan city. (B + L + D = Breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Day 3: Our next stop is Bulgan Province located 318 km (197.6 miles) away from Ulaanbaatar. Because the whole day is spent on driving, the evening will be for leisure and sightseeing activities. The night is spent in a tourist camp. (B + L + D)

Day 4: Before we move on to Lake Khuvsgul, visit the inactive volcano, Uran Togoo Uul and in Bulgan Province. The volcano is unique for its tiny lake surrounded with greeneries in its crater. Another 3 inactive volcanoes can be spotted around the sight. Another natural wonder in here is the spa resorts. For instance, the Khanui spa resort is recognized for its more than 80 different springs dedicated to heal different parts of human body. (B + L + D)

Day 5-8: After a hearty breakfast, we will drive to Lake Khuvsgul and spend three days at will.  Just a hiking in nature is worth a day. You can do all sorts of water activities like swimming, fishing or riding motorboats. There are local stores selling souvenirs, traditional goods, handcrafts, antiquities etc. We also offer you a chance to visit a Dukhan (a community of reindeer herders) family. And be sure not to miss the night view of the lake, which you can see canvas of stars shining endlessly above and below your feet. (B + L + D)

Day 9: It is time to head back to Ulaanbaatar. But before you finish the journey, have a visit to the one last attraction we offer you and that is the Khar Bukh Balgas. This is a ruin believed to have established during the Khitan period because of the roof tiles, containing the 9th-10th century’s Khitan inscription, found from the area. And surprisingly, these buildings were constructed of volcanic rocks, a grindstone and shale. Currently, some remains of the 2-storey castle are there. (B + L + D)

Day 10: The whole day is spent on driving. We will stop by Erdenet city to have a dinner and return to Ulaanbatar. (B + L + D)

Day 11: The last day is for you to explore the city. We prepared the best attractions in the city and the best of them is the Tumen-Ekh ensemble, featuring traditional song, music, dance and contortion. (B + L + D)

Day 12: After an early breakfast, we will see you off at the airport. Thank you for choosing us and we hope that you had an unforgettable experience with us! (B)
